School’s in session

St. John’s County School Children

Did you know that there are more than 500 homeless children in our St. John’s County Schools? These children, thankfully are enrolled in school, but are lacking in basic necessities like clothing, school supplies, and toiletries. We are being invited to help. Between now and August 31, please bring any or all of the following and place them in the collection box provided in Fellowship Hall for children in K-12:

  • New or gently worn clothing
  • Accessories (jewelry, belts, purses, etc.)
  • School Supplies (paper, notebooks, scissors, calculators, etc._
  • Toiletries (shampoo, deodorant, etc.)

You can make a child’s life a bit brighter and his or her chances in school brighter as well.
