Presbyterian Peacemaking Offering

The Presbyterian Peacemaking Offering is received each year on World Communion Sunday, the first Sunday in October. The offering is divided three ways: Fifty percent enables the Peacemaking Program to provide assistance and resources for congregations and other bodies of the Presbyterian Church in the work of peacemaking. Twenty-five percent is retained by the Presbytery of St. Augustine and the Synod of the South Atlantic, and the remaining twenty-five percent is kept by our own congregation to support peacemaking ministries in our community. This year the Session has approved the 25% being retained by our congregation to be divided equally between a scholarship for the Presbyterian Day School for a needy student and support for a student(s) in need at St. Paul AME School of Excellence. Please consider a generous gift.
