From Pastor Hunter
Gilbert K. Chesterton once wrote, “When it comes to life the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.” There are few spiritual disciplines more important than gratitude. Being grateful puts us in a posture of thankfulness. And being thankful leads us deeper into the holy waters of humility. And if there is one certain spiritual posture we assume during Lent, it is humility.
This morning, Amy and I were talking about how grateful to God we are for being at MPC. Grateful for a church with such faithful, active people. Grateful for the sense of community. Grateful for the beauty of the sanctuary. Grateful to be on this journey with you.
So let me turn the question on you: Today, what are you grateful for?
