The ministry of Christian fellowship includes both small group and church-wide events. Through these shared experiences we seek to strengthen the ties of love and friendship that bind us together in the community of faith, nurture one another in faith, support one another in times of need, and celebrate together the life that is ours as the body of Christ in the world. MPC offers a wide variety of fellowship-building opportunities.
The weekly FEAST
dinner and program (runs during the school year) offers a chef-prepared meal beginning at 5:20 and then choirs for children, Bible study for youth, and seminars on a variety of topics for adults from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday September through April. Join us for great food and great fellowship!
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
The MPC Surf Club
get together for regular parties and mornings on the beach. The club mostly includes particpants from the APEX group
(adults nearing the mid-point) and their family members.
YAHA (Young at Heart Adults)
is an organization for men and women over the age of fifty. The group meets monthly from September through May, ordinarily on the third Thursday of the month for lunch and a program. The group also enjoys a variety of special outings.
