Welcome to New Members
We were graced to receive fifteen new members into the life and work of our church family on Sunday.
Aubrie Simpson and Steven Gotham joined the church by profession of faith and baptism. Aubrie is a kindergarten teacher at St. Paul School of Excellence. Steven, while looking for a position in his field of marine biology, works several retail jobs. Aubrie and Steven are engaged to be married.
We also welcomed another engaged couple on Sunday. Ryan Smith joined Memorial by profession of his faith. He is employed by Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. and his fiancé Ashley Roach is a compliance officer with the same bank. Ashley was formerly a member of Wallkill Reformed Church in Wallkill, New York.
Nicki Bauer united with our church by reaffirmation of faith. Nicki is married to John and she works part time in retail. Her prior church home was Nicholls Memorial Presbyterian in Old Forge, NY.
Sally Kacprzycki was received by reaffirmation of her faith. She is a billing clerk with Physicians Support Systems. Sally’s daughter Annie was out of town but will be joining Memorial soon.
Elizabeth Wertz also joined by reaffirmation of her faith. Elizabeth is retired from the Bridal Shop.
Betsy and Ray Benner joined Memorial by transfer of their church membership from St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Selinsgrove, PA. Both are retired and are enjoying life in St. Augustine.
Susan and Jim Baker come to us from Trinity Presbyterian Church in Palm Coast, FL, where both served as officers. They are retired educators.
Wes Williams united with Memorial by profession of his faith. Wes is retired from Home Depot. His wife Lorie Weston was received by transfer of her membership from Westfield Presbyterian Church, Westfield, NJ.
Beverly and Scott Blunk came to us by transfer of their membership from First Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, FL. Scott is a Senior Project Manager for New Leaf Construction, Inc. and Beverly is a realtor associated with Wiechert Realtors.
We welcome these new members into our church family, rejoicing in the gifts they bring to our shared ministry and grateful for the gift that is ours to grow together with them in faith and love.
