Session Summary

The Session met for its stated monthly meeting on Monday, March 18, and, in addition to hearing reports from all ministry areas, took the following actions:
1.)  Approved the Trustee’s budget for 2013 of $324,678

2.) Approved a request from the Mission Outreach Ministry to raise $5,000 from the congregation in support of the St. Augustine Youth Services building program. (The cost is for one room for a child.)

3.)  Approved a request from the Peacemaking Committee for a Saturday night Film Festival on peacemaking on selected Saturdays in April and May.

4.) Approved a recommendation from the Board of Deacons for the purchase of two defibrillators for the sanctuary and fellowship hall and for training for volunteers.
